Three Township properties can be rented for a day or more. Here are the steps to guide you through the rental process.

Review the events calendar for conflicts with your planned dates.

Review the Houghton Township Park License Agreement.

Review the Houghton Township Square Park Policies if you plan to use the park.

Community Building
A large open room on the first floor with small kitchen and bathroom facilities
Can be configured for meetings, classes, banquets
Capacity limit 75
ADA accessible from ramp on the east side
Pavilion
Two open-air meeting areas with tables, electrical, restrooms, water service and a drinking fountain. The larger south area (pictured) faces 4th street. The north area faces the lake.

Northside covered area with lake view; 240 sqf; capacity about 30 seated 1 picnic table; glider; 2 electrical duplex boxes; hose barb

PARK
Two picnic areas with Lake Superior views
A graveled path for walking/running (1000’ )
A fenced dog run (100’ x10’ x 4’)
A low stage for events (400 sqft )
Swings, bars, slide and an historic merry-go-round
A tennis/pickle ball court with basketball hoop
Two 15 car capacity parking lots
Open fields with facilities for family soccer, horseshoes, volleyball, Frisbee golf, baseball or football (BYOE)
